Window Shadings use both Sheers and Fabric louvers to soften and diffuse light.  Light diffusion eliminates harsh shadows and adorns the room with a warm glow.  Window Shadings are available as either Horizontal Shadings or Vertical Shadings.  The Horizontal Silhouette or Nantucket by Hunter Douglas roll completely up into the Headrail to provide an unobstructed view.  The Vertical Luminette by Hunter Douglas gathers on the sides of an opening similar to a Drapery. 

Either product combines the softness of a Cellular Honeycomb Shade with the functionality of a Blind to offer unparalleled beauty and performance.  Both products offer Semi Sheer, translucent, and light dimming fabric opacities to help address your personal light control needs.  Likewise these products can help protect your fine fabrics, fine artwork, lush carpets, and soft leathers from ultraviolet damage.   Harmful Ultraviolet rays are minimized by the sheer fabric and reduced by up to 99% by the Soft fabric louver.  Increased Energy efficiency within the Home can also be expected when comparing these products to uncovered glass.  Both the Silhouette and Luminette are available with either Manual control options or Motorized control options.
